About

I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Statistics in the Department of Statistics at the Ohio State University, with my advisor, Dr. Steve MacEachern. We have developed a Bayesian nonparametric methodology for simultaneous quantile regression, which has been recently accepted in Journal of Nonparametric Statistics. [pdf]

From 2012-2016, I studied Economics and Statistics at Ewha Womans University. Then from 2017-2018, I worked on multivariate data analysis and sufficient dimension reduction with Dr. Jae Keun Yoo and received my M.S. degree in Statistics from Ewha Womans University. The title of my master's thesis is "Fused sliced average variance estimation", which is also published in the Journal of Korean Statistical Society under the same title. [pdf]

Other than Statistics, I love travel, coffee chat, and dogs and started indoor climbing recently. The photo below is me at Petrohué Waterfalls, Chile, in October 2022.
